College Football Rankings: Oregon Remains #1 in AP Poll, Buckeyes Up To 8th

Oregon remains #1 in the latest AP Poll follwing their 53-32 dismantling of USC.  The Ducks are primed for a trip to the National Championship Game should they run the table.  Their oppenent could be Auburn, who is #3 this week in the AP.  Boise State, sitting at #2, will likely need help - the BCS doesn't seem to like the Broncos all that much and another major team undefeated could be enough to bump Boise out.

As for the Buckeyes, a couple of lopsided wins have moved them back into BCS contention.  Ohio State sits at #8 in the polls, and still has a shot at the Big Ten title.  Thanks to 15th-ranked Iowa who crushed previously unbeaten Michigan State 37-6.  The Spartans came into the game ranked #5 but were never a factor on the road in Iowa.

The rest of the Top-5 has TCU at #4 and Alabama at #5.  The Crimson-Tide are stting at teh fringe of the title-chase despite their loss to South Carolina.  The entire Top-25 is below:
