Cavaliers Look To Bring Success Home Against Nets

The Cavaliers hope to bottle up the recipe for success they've used the last three games on the road and bring it back to The Q starting tonight against the New Jersey Nets. The Cavs have won three straight games in the road - in Philly, Washington and New Jersey - but have lost their last two at home, something they will look to change in their second meeting with the Nets in 24 hours.

It was the bench that got it done for the Cavaliers last night, outscoring the Nets 52-17. It was also a historic night for the bench, according to Elias.

With reserves Antawn Jamison (15 points; three assists), Daniel Gibson (14 points; four assists) and Ramon Sessions (15 points; five assists) leading the way, it is the first time in over 14 years that the Cavs have had three bench players register double-digits in points and at least three assists in a game. The last time it happened was on Feb. 29, 1996 when reserves Dan Majerle (16 points; three assists), John Crotty (19 points; five assists) and Bob Sura (12 points; five assists) led the team to a win over the Bucks in Milwaukee.

It is amazing how something that has been such a thorn in the side of the Cavaliers in recent history can be such a strength now.

The Cavaliers have won nine straight over the Nets, including their last four at Quicken Loans Arena.

The Nets have lost five straight games after starting the season 2-0.
