Browns Get Back To Work With Patriots On Their Mind

Fresh and rested, the Cleveland Browns have gotten back to work and will welcome a familiar friend to Cleveland Browns Stadium on Sunday.  Bill Belichick, who coached the Browns during their final five seasons before moving to Baltimore, has won three super bowls with the New England Patriots.  He once again has the Patriots at the top of the NFL wth a 6-1 record, and with Tom Brady at quarterback the Pats seem poised for another deep run in the AFC.

The Browns aren't impressed.  After a big road win in New Orleans, the Browns are filled with confidence after a week off.  There is also the business regarding Belichick and and Browns coach Eric Mangini.  There isn't much love lost between the two men dating back to the time Mangini left the Patriots to take over the New York Jets.  What followed - icy post-game handshakes, spy-gate, general rudeness - has been the stuff of soap opera legend.

All of that will be on full display this weekend - in the midst of a football game - a game that the Patriots want to win to keep the inside track to an AFC East Title.

Buckle up Browns fans.
