Jets-Browns Set To Be Announced By CBS' Top Crew

According to CBS Sports, Cleveland Browns fans won’t have to have their game announced by the “D” or “Z” announcing crew this week (i.e. Rich Gannon/Bill Macatee, or Kevin Harlan/Solomon Wilcots).

Instead, the Jets-Browns game is lined up to have the network’s No. 1 announce team, Jim Nantz and Phil Simms, come to Cleveland. The decision was apparantly made before the Browns’ victory over New England, but given CBS’ lineup this week, it makes sense for CBS’ top crew to call a game that pits the Jets against one of the hottest teams in football.
