The little drama coming out about LeBron James and his views on "contraction" in the NBA is, I have to say, a little bit of a hoot. In a way it reminds me of Donovan McNabb last season, not being aware that a game in the NFL could still end in a tie if nobody scored in overtime.
↵I will let this story do most of the talking. It is a good read and it almost makes one feel sorry for the guy. Perhaps his next "Decision" will be to think before he speaks.
↵Just to be clear, LeBron -- "contraction" would mean eliminating some teams from the NBA. It does not mean returning to the good old days when teams were more individually powerful. To simplify even more, it would mean taking 30 teams and reducing that number to less than 30.
↵Okay? Does that help?
