Cleveland State turning heads with 10-0 start

It wasn’t too long ago that basketball season in Cleveland meant Lebron and the Q. But thanks to Head Coach Gary Waters and a talented, veteran squad, the Cleveland State Vikings are making the case that they just might be the best team on the North Shore.

Behind senior guard Norris Cole and his 21.2 points a game, the Vikings have notched wins over Kent State, Akron, St. Bonaventure, and Robert Morris, as well as victories over Horizon foes UW-Green Bay and Milwaukee.

Their 10 wins are the most in Division I thus far, and they received enough votes in Monday’s AP poll to rank them 31st in the country. The Vikings hope to continue the streak Tuesday when they face West Virginia Tech.
