Indians' Hall Of Fame Pitcher Bob Feller Moved To Hospice

Sad news, indeed. Bob Feller, possibly the Cleveland Indians’ best ambassador, has been moved to hospice due to pneumonia, as a result of complications from leukemia.

Feller, who has been battling through different health problems the last few months, always seemed to bounce back better than ever. But things have been piling up for the 92 year old, between vertigo, thrush, leukemia treaments, and now pneumonia.

I’ve had the chance to meet Bob Feller and he is as a great a man as you’ll ever meet. His brain was razor-sharp and he always seemed to be the Energizer Bunny of former players, going from card show to book signing to Indians Fantasy Camp and elsewhere.

Be well Bob. All of Cleveland is praying for you.
