Thursday: Bad Offense In The Morning, Good Offense In The Afternoon

It wasn’t a good morning for the quarterbacks and receivers at Browns camp, as the OBR reports that the offense had a “pass fail.” When Jake Delhomme and Seneca Wallace are getting intercepted or having their passes broken up left and right, to go along with receivers dropping passes, Mike Holmgren couldn’t have been impressed early on:

It was as if Holmgren, with his hand movements, went from saying, “The weather is beautiful today. I like being out here watching this young team develop,” to “What in the name of the forward pass is going on here?”

By the time the afternoon session rolled around, Delhomme and the receivers seemed back on track, thankfully.

Dawgs By Nature, our SB Nation Browns blog, has a recap of what went down during the rest of Thursday’s two practices.
