Nebraska Leaving Big 12 For Big 10 Seems Final

A lot of you may know that Nebraska was invited to join the Big Ten. The Big 12, close to dying, can't stop them. Nebraska is announcing Friday to leave for the Big Ten. That was also the deadline given by Big 12 officials to stay or to go.

Texas athletic director DeLoss Dodds and president Williams Powers gathered UT coaches today at 2 p.m. CT to tell them they did everything they could to save the Big 12 but that they were unsuccessful.

the Pac-10 will invite Texas, Texas A&M, Oklahoma, Oklahoma State, Texas Tech and Colorado and it appears those invitations will be accepted.

This means that the Big 12 would die, and that would leave Missouri, Kansas, and Kansas State to be left out. We have no idea of their intentions, so we will keep you up to date.
