Nationals Extend Lead To 6-1 After Six

Stephen Strasburg, a victim of wildness today that yielded five walks in 5 1/3 innings, is out of the Indians’ game at Progressive Field, but it may not matter, as a four-run Washington sixth inning, all of the runs scoring with two outs, has the Nationals comfortably ahead, 6-1.

Strasburg allowed only two hits in his time on the mound today, one a Travis Hafner home run, along with eight strikeouts, as he looks to go 2-0 in his first two major league starts.
