As expected, D’Qwell Jackson has signed his RFA tender today, reported by the Plain Dealer. His second round tender was worth 1.759 million. He stood to lose more than 1 million if he didn’t sign today.
↵Jackson’s agent, Brian Mackler, had this to say:
↵↵↵“D’Qwell was ready to get on with the season and let his play dictate his value, D’Qwell is healthy and looking forward to having a Pro Bowl-caliber season. He feels the defense has a chance to be really good this season and he’s excited to get back on the field.”
