Remember when opposing pitcher Stephen Strasburg had issues with the mound at Progressive field last week? Well, the troubles haven't stopped with just him...

↵Well, Strasburg wasn't alone. During Wednesday night's game against the Tribe, Mets starter Jonathon Niese had the same issues with the mound, forcing the grounds crew to come out in the fifth inning. Prior to fixing the mound, Niese slowly began to struggle against batters more and more. After fixing the mound, Niese threw two scoreless innings. It seemed reasonable that mound issues would happen once, perhaps due to Strasburg's unique pitching abilities, but when it happens twice, it seems like a message that a better long-term solution needs to be found.
