Duron Carter Withdraws From Ohio State

Promising freshman WR Duron Carter is no longer a student at Ohio State University. Today his father, former Ohio State legend Cris Carter, announced that Duron is enrolled at Coffeyville community college where he will try and get his academics in order.

Last year Carter saw playing time as a true freshman in catching 13 passes for 179 yards and 1 TD. His year ended on a sour note, suspended for the Rose Bowl, along with DE Robert Rose, due to academics.

The door is not closed on Duron Carter returning to Ohio State if he is able to turn his schoolwork around, he can re-enroll at OSU and still have three years of eligibility remaining.
