It is evident that the Indians are not going anywhere this year. It has been evident for quite some time. Seventy games in the books, and only 26 wins, and the Tribe are on pace to lose 102 games. There will be no amazing turnaround, no rush to pennant contention. Years ago I believed such miracles were possible. I no longer believe in such things.
↵That being said, who, in your opinion, is most likely to be the next “big name” player to be sent elsewhere before the July 31 trade deadline? Will it be Fausto Carmona? Jake Westbrook? Shin-Soo Choo? It is true that there are no truly heavy hitters as in past years, no Cy Young winners or all-star catchers. But who likely will be history come August?
