Scrappy Cavs Dig Out Of 17-Point Hole, Top Bulls, 81-80

The Cleveland Cavaliers Summer League team, after falling behind the Chicago Bulls tonight by 17 points in the second quarter, fought all the way back and nipped the Bulls, 81-80, in a July thriller.

Pooh Jeter continued to excel for the Cavs, nailing the game-winning three-pointer and scoring 20 points to trail only J.J. Hickson’s 21, and for the third game in a row Jeter led in assists, with 7.

Christian Eyenga added ten points for the Cavs, who stayed perfect in the Summer League at 3-0. Tomorrow Cleveland takes on the Miami Heat.

LeBron James is not expected to play…(grins).
