After watching Jhonny Peralta slug two home-runs last night in his debut with the Tigers, the Indians must have decided to "share the love". After their loss to Toronto, Cleveland announced it had traded Austin Kearns to the New York Yankees for a prospect to be named later, or cash.
↵Kearns, in his time with the Indians, batted .272 with eight homers and 42 RBI, and will now be "rewarded" with a post-season berth, no doubt, as one of manager Manny Acta's favorites from Acta's days as Nationals' skipper goes to a contender.
↵Won't it be fun to face another post-season watching very recent Indians playing for other teams? Makes that "prospect or cash" thing seem not so bad, right? Yeah, right.
↵When we start having fun, let me know...I wouldn't want to miss it.
