Putrid Brown Pants Are Gone, Says Mangini

According to Cleveland Browns head coach Eric Mangini, the brown pants that haunted many fans last year will not be seen again.

Mangini confirmed after practice that he has retired the team’s brown pants look. “It wasn’t very well-received,” he laughed. When told that uniforms are quite a hot button issue with fans, the coach said, “I hope we can get to the point where we can wear fruit on our heads and people wouldn’t notice.”

I for one am thrilled that the team will be returning to their traditional uniforms (either all white, or brown tops and white pants). I might not mind seeing the orange jerseys again for a special game here and there, but the brown pants had to go.
