Indians Come Up Short; Royals Salvage Finale Of Series, 6-2

Fausto Carmona lost his fifth consecutive decision this afternoon as the Kansas City Royals took the finale of the weekend series at Progressive Field, 6-2.

Kila Ka'aihue drove in the go-ahead run with a double in the seventh after Shelley Duncan had tied the game with a two-run homer in the bottom of the sixth. Ka'aihue's double made a winner of Bruce Chen (9-7), while Carmona fell to 11-13.
