According to Mary Kay Cabot of the Plain Dealer, Seneca Wallace has been told “somewhat” that he is the starter for Sunday. Wallace said:
I kind of got that feeling by being out at practice and [Delhomme’s] still walking around nursing his injury.
Wallace played well in the pre-season, posting 13 of 26 for 230 yards, 3 TD’s and 1 INT. Assuming Wallace is the starter, I believe the Browns will readjust their pass happy week one gameplan, to a more run centric one.
Sunday would be Seneca Wallace’s 15th career start, he is 5-9 in his previous 14 starts.
