Former Browns head coach Romeo Crennel is now the defensive coordinator of the Kansas City Chiefs. This will be Crennel’s first return to Browns stadium as an opposing coach, and he hopes the Chiefs’ defense isn’t embarrassed like they were last year against Cleveland:
Q: Is it your sense that they carry some sort of embarrassment about them from that game?
CRENNEL: “I hope they do, because it was embarrassing. I don’t want to be embarrassed on Sunday.”
Crennel was also asked about running back Jerome Harrison, a player who Crennel always seemed to have something against for some reason:
Q: How do you stop a guy like RB Jerome Harrison?
CRENNEL: “It involves everyone on the defense doing their job first and then helping out. If you fit properly and be sure tacklers, maybe we can hold him down.”
