Another Dreadful Sunday: Indians Follow Browns In Losing To Kansas City

The Indians jumped on the Royals early today, with Shin-Soo Choo blasting his fourth homer of the series in the first inning, and the Tribe stretched their lead to 3-0 before Josh Tomlin imploded in the second inning, as Kansas City completed a baseball/football daily double of Cleveland losses with a 6-4 victory to salvage the finale of the three-game set and to crawl back to within a half-game of the Tribe, not long after the Browns lost to the Chiefs.

There will probably not be many Christmas cards sent to Missouri by Clevelanders this December.

Kansas City scored the go-ahead run on a steal of home as Tomlin allowed four runs in the second. Josh lasted into the sixth before two more Royals' runs gave KC what turned out to be an insurmountable lead.

The Indians now pay a visit to Minnesota beginning tomorrow night. There is a chance that the Twins will clinch the division during their series with the Tribe in the visitors' dugout.

Wouldn't that be special?
