NFL Power Rankings: Hillis' Effort Enough To Maintain 30th Spot

In the Week 4 SB Nation NFL Power Rankings, the Cleveland Browns stayed at the No. 30 position after their 24-17 loss to the Baltimore Ravens. Had it not been for the fantastic effort given by Peyton Hillis, it wouldn’t have surprised me to see the Browns ranked lower. Right now, the Bills and the Panthers are the only teams lower than the Browns.

Here is what was said about the Browns in the power rankings:

Can’t blame the Browns too much for battling the Ravens to a one-score game. They’ve still got major quarterback issues.

Hmmm, I wouldn’t attribute “major quarterback issues” as being the reason this team is 0-3. Right now, it’s just been a case of the team barely losing. Sure, a better quarterback might have made the difference, but the team just needs to avoid the weekly blunder that costs them.

As far as the rest of the AFC North go, the Steelers (from No. 5 to No. 1) and Ravens (stayed at No. 8) remained high, while the Cincinnati Bengals stayed near the middle of the pack (No. 16).
