In addition to naming roster cuts today, the Cleveland Browns had to make a decision on defensive lineman Shaun Rogers, who was on the physically unable to perform list (PUP) all of camp.
If Rogers was left on the PUP, he would’ve been forced to miss at least the first six weeks of the season. The Browns have chosen to activate him from the PUP though, meaning he is eligible to play Week 1 against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers if he is ready to go.
