Late-Night Delight: Tribe Scores In Ninth, Defeats Angels 3-2 To Soften Blow Of Being Eliminated

This off-again, on-again road trip to the West Coast was on again last night as the Indians, bolstered by another strong start from a suddenly very efficient staff, beat the Los Angeles Angels on a ninth-inning RBI from Shin-Soo Choo.

Carlos Carrasco continued a string of success for the starters that has seen them post a 3.20 ERA in the last twelve games, although the victory went to Jensen Lewis. Chris Perez blasted through the ninth inning for his 19th save as the Tribe moved to 3-2 on the trip.
