Preview: Jake Delhomme Ready To Make Browns Debut Against Buccaneers

This Sunday at 1:00 PM, the Cleveland Browns will kick off their regular season against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. After winning their last four games of the regular season in 2009, Eric Mangini has turned to quarterback Jake Delhomme for the 2010 campaign in hopes that the former Carolina Panther can return to his old form and give the team more stability at the quarterback position than last year.

Based on the preseason, Cleveland fans are more excited about Delhomme than when he first signed -- he was accurate, consistently led the offense down the field, made solid reads, and did not throw an interception. The Buccaneers, meanwhile, will send second-year quarterback Josh Freeman under center. Neither team is expected to do particularly well if you ask the mainstream media, but don't tell that to these teams who have been trying to rebuild back into contention.

This stream will be updated with the latest news about the Browns vs. Bucs game throughout the week, so be sure to return to this page.
