Surprise! Cavs At Bottom Of NBA Power Rankings

That was a bit harsh, don’t you think? To be fair, the young guys do seem to be getting better (even if it’s just a little bit better) lately, and there were positives to be taken away from last night’s game against the Nets, the loss notwithstanding.

Ramon Sessions is playing good basketball, Christian Eyenga has serious athleticism, and J.J. Hickson seems to have finally gotten the memo that he needs to play at a high level every time he is on the floor.

That won’t show up in the W column or in the Power Rankings, but it gives fans a little bit of hope for the future. The rest is up to the Cavaliers organization—through trades, talent development and the draft.
