2011 NFL Mock Draft - Browns Draft WR Julio Jones

Get ready!  There are 12 teams in the NFL Playoffs, but for the rest of us it is time to look forward to the 2011 NFL Draft.  That means NFL mock drafts.  Lots of them.  SBNation will be putting one out on a weekly basis and we'll keep tabs on it, as well as a few other trusted sources, to see which direction the Cleveland Browns might go.

This week, Dan Kadar from Mocking The Draft and Brian Galliford went through the First Round and when it came to No. 6, the Browns took the best WR on the board:

6. Cleveland Browns (5-11): Julio Jones, WR, Alabama (JR). It's still tough to get a good read on Cleveland's drafting tendencies with Mike Holmgren in town. We do know this: the Browns desperately need targets for Colt McCoy, and Jones is a fantastic fit for the West Coast Offense.

They hit the nail right on the head in a couple ways.  Jones is the perfect fit for the type of offense Mike Holmgren wants to run.  Jones is also an electric playmaker who has played in plenty of big games during his time in the SEC at Alabama.

Of course, these things will change over the next four months, but when you are on the outside of the playoffs looking in you have to find hope somewhere!
