For the first time since 1965, Penn State will play a football game without Joe Paterno as their head coach. Given all that is going on in Happy Valley that led to Paterno's firing, football carries on and the No. 12 Nittany Lions take on the No. 19 Nebraska Saturday. A win by Penn State, and losses from Wisconsin and Ohio State, clinches the Nittany Lions a spot in the Big Ten Championship Game.
Penn State currently tops the Leaders division with an undefeated 5-0 record thanks in large part to holding opposing offenses to just 62 points. Nebraska on the other hand is battling for the Legends' top spot, trailing Michigan State by a game at 3-2. The game will be aired on ESPN at noon with Dave Pasch, Chris Spielman, and Urban Meyer calling the action.
