Browns head coach Pat Shurmur announced today that running back Peyton Hillis and safety T.J. Ward will sit out Sunday’s game against the Cincinnati Bengals.
↵Hillis is missing his sixth straight game with a hamstring injury and Ward is missing his third in a row with a sprained foot.
↵Shurmur told reporters during his weekly Monday news conference that he’s “hopeful” running back Montario Hardesty will be back for the game. Chris Ogbonnaya has started the last three games since joining the team four weeks ago.
↵Against the Jaguars Sunday, Ogbonnaya had his best game since joining the Browns. He ran the ball 21 times for a career-high 115 yards and his first NFL touchdown.
