Ohio State Will Go to Bowl Game as Long as NCAA Allows

The NCAA could still prevent Ohio State from going to a bowl game this year after their issues this past offseason, but as long as they are allowed, Ohio State athletic director Gene Smith says that the team will go to a bowl if they are invited.

Right now, the Buckeyes are being projected to Bowls like the Gator Bowl and really lesser-known bowl games like that, but that doesn’t matter for this young team which is hungry to compete.

To this point, the NCAA hasn’t really punished the team as a whole for the actions of individual players and former Head Coach Jim Tressel allowing essentially ineligible players to help the Buckeyes to BCS bowl games.
