According to KC Johnson of the Chicago Tribune, the Chicago Bulls are set to acquire recently waived guard/forward Richard Hamilton.
↵Last year, Hamilton was nearly traded to the Cleveland Cavaliers, a deal that was rejected at the last minute. Cleveland planned to buy Hamilton out, and the Bulls reportedly had interest in him then as well.
↵According to Johnson, Hamilton’s deal will likely be a two-year contract worth around $10 million. Last season was the worst in terms of points per game that Hamilton has had since he was a rookie.
