Famous Idaho Potato Bowl 2011: Bobcats Slight Underdogs

With only three days to go until the Famous Idaho Potato bowl, the Ohio Bobcats are preparing for their first ever win in a bowl game. To do so, they will need to overcome the odds against them. According to SB Nation's official odds partner Oddsshark, the Bobcats are a slight 2.5 point underdog against Utah State:

The game also pits Ohio's No. 38-ranked offense, averaging 31 PPG, against a Aggies defense that ranks No. 73 this week at 28.2 PPG. The Bobcats aerial game is averaging 250.9 yards per game, more than the Aggies secondary allows through the air, 240 YPG per game.

Utah State's biggest contribution to the the college football season to date was an opening game loss to defending National Champion Auburn. The Aggies held a 10 point lead with under three minutes to go, but two touchdowns in the final three minutes allowed the Tigers to escape with a four point victory.
