Toledo Rockets WR Eric Page Not Likely to Declare for 2012 NFL Draft

Toledo wide receiver Eric Page had a huge season for the Rockets, catching 125 passes for 1,182 yards and 10 touchdowns and finishing the 2011 season with a bang against Air Force, catching 13 passes and returning a kick for a touchdown.

Still, it seems like the junior will return for his senior season, as he would likely be a third or fourth round pick no matter if he goes this year or next year.

Page has great speed and is obviously a reliable target. He has the potential to be a big playmaker at the next level and some have compared him to Emmanuel Sanders of the Pittsburgh Steelers.

The only real flaw in Page’s game is the fact that he is 5’10" 180 pounds, so he’s going to have to add some weight to make it in the NFL, but he definitely has the skill set and speed to get it done.

His likely return should be welcome news to Toledo fans, who just saw their team go 9-4 and finish off the season with a bowl victory.
