Deshaun Thomas Has 16 Off The Bench As Buckeyes Lead Indiana Big

There have been plenty of upsets in college basketball this weekend – take Duke losing to Virginia Tech for example. Fortunately for the Ohio State Buckeyes, it doesn’t appear they will fall victim this afternoon to any upset.

Deshaun Thomas – a former Mr. Basketball in the State of Indiana – has 16 points and 4 rebounds off the bench as the Buckeyes shot 48% from the field to take a 38-23 lead at halftime over the Indiana Hoosiers at Value City Arena in Columbus.

Jared Sullinger has just two points – both coming on free throws – and has yet to officially attempt a field goal. Jon Diebler has 9 points for Ohio State to lead the starting 5.

Indiana is shooting just 36% from the field – including 0-8 from 3-point territory. Verdell Jones leads the Hoosiers with 7 points.

Ohio State is looking to move to 27-2 overall – 14-2 in the Big Ten – with tournament play right around the corner.
