Bracketology 2011: Big Ten, MAC and Horizon League Teams Vying For March Madness

The final weekend of the college basketball regular season is here.  For some, like Cleveland State and the rest of the Horizon League, the postseason has already begun.  That means the sweet science known as Bracketology is in full swing.  You all know Jon Lunardi, but the folks at SBNation.com have their own version of Bracketology.  Here's how it shakes down for the local teams:

BIG TEN:  Chris has six teams form the Big Ten getting into the dance.

Ohio State (1 seed)

Purdue (2 seed)

Wisconsin (4 seed)

Illinois (9 seed)

Michigan State (11 seed)

Michigan (12 seed, 1st round)

MID-AMERICAN-CONFERENCE:  It's been a down year for the MAC.  Only one team - the winner of the Conference Tournament next week will make the tournament.

HORIZON LEAGUE:  A near-national championship last season has gotten the Horizon some respect.  Chris expects two teams to make it, though right now one of them is NOT Cleveland State.  The Vikings can change all that this weekend.

Butler (11 seed)

Milwaukee (13 seed)
