The Ohio State Buckeyes have had the best regular season in school history, and they have been rewarded for it. The Associated Press has OSU at the top of their final regular season rankings for the college basketball season ahead of Kansas, Pittsburgh, and Notre Dame.
Other Big Ten teams in the top 25 include Purdue (9th) and Wisconsin (13th). Ohio State dominated Wisconsin in Columbus on Sunday night, but the Badgers and Boilermakers are the only two teams to have beaten Ohio State this season. Both games were road games for the Buckeyes.
Ohio State is likely guaranteed a top seed in the coming National tournament, and also likely will be the top overall seed. Up next for these teams is the Big Ten conference tournament.
