2011 Big Ten Tournament: Seedings Set After Ohio State Pummels Wisconsin

Ohio State had little to play for on Sunday during their drubbing of Wisconsin - other than, perhaps, a little bit of pride.  Already guaranteed of the regular season Big Ten title, the Buckeyes wanted to send their seniors out in style in their final home game.  That they did.

Now that the season is over, Ohio State, and the rest of the Big Ten, turn their attention to the Big Ten Tournament that gets underway on Thursday, March 10 from Conseco Fieldhouse in Indianapolis, Indiana.  The seeds are set and the tournament schedule is ready to go.  Below are the seeds for the tournament.  Ohio State will not play until Friday at Noon.

1. Ohio St. Buckeyes

2. Purdue Boilermakers

3. Wisconsin Badgers

4. Michigan Wolverines

5. Illinois Fighting Illini

6. Penn St. Nittany Lions

7. Michigan St. Spartans

8. Northwestern Wildcats

9. Minnesota Golden Gophers

10. Iowa Hawkeyes

11. Indiana Hoosiers
