Weather Or Not: What To Expect At Progressive Field This Afternoon

I have to say that I do not mind taking this opportunity to blatantly promote my absolute favorite weather site. I have gone to Weather Underground for just about all of my weather needs for a long time now.

A pretty great site!

So what does it look like for this afternoon when baseball will be played in downtown Cleveland for the first time in 2011?

Well, it looks like it will be mid-40s and partly to mostly cloudy. Veritably balmy, yes? If this were a Browns' game there would be a thousand people without shirts, and Progressive Field is a ways away from the lake in comparison with Cleveland Browns' stadium, so really, even should a shower come through, all systems seem to be go.

And remember 2007, when the weather was so bad in Cleveland that an entire series was moved to Miller Park in Milwaukee.

No reason not to shout "Play Ball" with the weather forecast.
