Time To Relax, Indians

After the first game of the season, I wrote an article about Fausto Carmona needing to just relax, and when he did, he put together three pretty outstanding outings, before regressing a bit on Saturday.

But that’s okay, bad games happen, losing streaks happen, bats go cold, pitchers have a rough patch.

↵

What matters, Indians, is that you are in first place by a game and-a-half. Nobody expected it, and a three-game slide does not take away from what you accomplished in the first 18 games.

Now relax.

Go back to what worked in the first three weeks of the season, take at least two of three from Kansas City at home, then follow that up with at least two of three from Detroit.

You guys are better than we might have thought you were…now relax, remember what got you thirteen wins…and surprise us some more.
