The Indians are at a crossroads. Where they go from here will in large part be determined in the upcoming homestand against the Reds and then the Red Sox.
↵Three games vs. our downstate rivals. That alone will be cause for entertainment, and as the Reds are also contending this year, it will add flavor to this year’s action, both in Cleveland and — later this year — in Cincinnati.
↵Then three games with the Red Sox. This will not be the same Boston team that the Indians swept in early April. The Sox are on a roll, having won six in a row, and they will be looking for payback against a short-handed Tribe.
↵The Indians are at a crossroads, after their crash in Chicago on Wednesday and Thursday. Do they bounce back and make the two losses to the White Sox just a blip? Or do they tighten up and lose a little more of the magic at home that they lost against Tampa Bay last week?
↵This should be an interesting six days.
