'Sir Charles' Has Love For Neither The Heat Nor Their Fans

Charles Barkley is never one to mince words, and the words that he spouted on ESPN Radio 1000 in Chicago on Wednesday left little to be interpreted, according to this story via ESPN.go.com.

First, while addressing the Heat as a team, there was this zinger:

"Listen, if the Miami Heat were playing the Washington Generals I would pick the Washington Generals," Barkley said with a chuckle. "It's something about that team that annoys me."

↵

"They just a whiny bunch and I can't root for them."

Not finished yet, Barkley had this to say about the Miami fans:

"Yeah they have the worst fans. No question. It's not even loud in there. You're at the game and you are like, 'Man this place isn't even loud.' At least when you go to Chicago, it's loud in there, it's crazy down in Dallas but it's not even loud in Miami."

With a tie-breaking Game 5 of the NBA Finals set for "loud" Dallas tonight, let's hope that this series goes back to "isn't...loud" Miami and the Mavericks can hoist a trophy in front of silence.
