Indians 'Hits': Jeanmar Gomez Headed Down To Make Room For Fausto Carmona

It appears as if David Huff's performance in Minnesota this afternoon has earned him a longer look.

Huff, who was thought to perhaps be headed back to Columbus after his start against the Twins, is staying after shutting Minnesota out for seven innings in the 5-2 Indians’ win, and Jeanmar Gomez is headed back to the minors instead to make way for Fausto Carmona, who was activated between games and will make the start in the nightcap of today’s twin-bill.

Gomez was the starter and loser in Sunday's 8-3 defeat to the Baltimore Orioles, allowing five runs in 5.1 innings to leave his record in 2011 at 0-2 and his ERA at 5.70 after two stints with the Tribe.
