A huge shout out to two players who established their careers in other places, but spent time with the Indians as twilight began to overtake the bright sun of their youth.
↵Roberto Alomar, who played for the Tribe in 1999-2001 and batted .323 over that span, but who achieved his greatest heights with the Toronto Blue Jays, and Bert Blyleven, who was a mainstay for the Minnesota Twins and was with the Indians from 1981-1985, compiling a 48-37 mark with the Tribe (including a 19-7 record in 1984), are both in the Hall of Fame.
↵Good on you guys, good on you. And thank you for your contributions to our Little Team That Couldn’t on the shores of Lake Erie.
