The Indians are scheduled to play for the next ten days (beginning Friday night against Kansas City) and, frankly, this stretch might make-or-break the rest of the season.
↵First off are the Royals for three. Not to take anything away from Kansas City, but the Tribe has to be thinking they need to sweep this weekend series at home.
↵Why? Because next week Cleveland goes to Boston for four and then Texas for three.
↵And yes, the Indians are 4-2 vs. the Red Sox this year, but the last two games were losses and Boston is only a half-game away from having the best record in the Major Leagues and has been on fire since late April.
↵And the Rangers? Oh, we all know how successful the Tribe was against Texas earlier this year. Successful enough to lose four straight at Progressive Field.
↵Man, I would bet that right now, the Indians would take a 5-5 record over this stretch.
↵So would I.
