Browns Get A Shot At The Super Bowl Champs To Open Pre-Season

The Browns will get their first game action on Saturday night when they take on the Green Bay Packers at Cleveland Browns Stadium at 7:30.

Although the game, of course, does not "count", as it were, it will still be good to get the butterflies out and see how Our Team does against the gentlemen from Wisconsin. It will also be interesting to see how the starters fare against the starters for the Pack.

Here are some links to the game coverage for you to peruse:

SB Nation's 'Dawgs By Nature' will have a running game thread to follow, as will, no doubt...

Green Bay's SB Nation site, "Acme Packing Company".

Cleveland.com's preview can be found here.

Meanwhile, here is full Packer coverage from the Green Bay Gazette.

NFL.com's Game Center gives you stats galore as well as an ongoing blog with up to the minute opinions (and insults, throw-downs, etc).

Those are a few links to whet your appetite for tonight's affair. Enjoy.

Look for a game recap of this initial pre-season game of the 2011 season late tonight or first thing on Sunday morning. And no doubt there will be analysis galore.
