Carlos Carrasco Suspended 6 Games, But Will Make Start Against Boston

Indians’ starter Carlos Carrasco has been suspended for six games for actions in his last start, when he went high and inside against Billy Butler immediately after a grand slam from Melky Cabrera of the Royals.

Carrasco will appeal the suspension, and will thus make his scheduled start on Wednesday in Boston against the Red Sox.

With the addition of Ubaldo Jimenez it becomes clear that some starter will be dropped from the rotation, if Manny Acta wants to go with five starters, so we will see if Carrasco, or David Huff, is the odd man out down the road.

Huff starts tonight in Boston.
