Browns Sign Cornerback Dimitri Patterson

The Cleveland Browns Tuesday have agreed to terms with cornerback Dimitri Patterson. Patterson, who most recently played in Philadelphia, had a nice 2010 season for the Eagles. The Tuskegee graduate started nine games for the Eagles and had 51 tackles, 1 sack, and 4 interceptions.

The Browns will be Patterson’s fourth team since joining the league as an undrafted free agent in 2005. Patterson will be reunited with defensive coordinator Dick Jauron who was the Eagles secondary coach last season.

Patterson is expected to be the Browns #3 CB behind Joe Haden and Sheldon Brown.
