Jordan Cameron
(On his experience so far)- “So far it’s been good, a lot of learning. I haven’t been in football, especially the tight end position for too long so there has been a lot of coaching up. It’s been good playing against these guys. I have the best competition in the world so you are getting a lot better every day.”
(On getting more reps with Benjamin Watson and Evan Moore not being out there)- “I definitely need it. Like I said, with a lack of experience at the position, this is really helpful to me and these opportunities are great and I am taking advantage of them so far. I’ve got to keep it going.”
(On if all of the depth at tight end is disconcerting)- “I think it’s good. It’s competition, you have got to compete every day. You have got to get better. These guys are older and they know what they are doing. It’s definitely helpful for me to be under them and coach me up every day. Teaching me how to be a pro is really what they are doing.”
Buster Skrine
(On learning from Sheldon Brown)- “I just pick his brain all the time. I am always attached to Sheldon. Sheldon has been in the game, what is this his 10th year? He knows everything from the bottom up. Sheldon is like another defensive coordinator. Being with Sheldon is helping me a lot.”
Jabaal Sheard
(On the veterans on the team like Scott Fujita and D’Qwell Jackson)- “They are all great guys. Everybody in the defensive line room is coaching me up every time I make a mistake. They are not yelling at me or snapping at me, they are trying to coach me and make me better. They try to help me learn the plays, small techniques. It’s the NFL, all the small things count. You can just start with your first step and guys are watching that. I am in the film room all day with older guys and they are just constantly on me and trying to help me get better.”
(On being a pass rushing end)- “I am excited about it. Going against Joe (Thomas) all day is making me a lot better and getting my pass rush moves down as best they can be. I am excited I get a chance to get out here and show what I can do. I am having fun out there.”
