The Indians have called Jerad Head up from the Columbus Clippers and sent Nick Hagadone back down to Triple-A as the revolving door continues with Cleveland baseball.

Meanwhile, Michael Brantley has been transferred from the 15- to the 60-day disabled list with his right wrist injury, effectively ending his season.

Like Hagadone, Head has never appeared in a Major League game but will make his debut today. The 28-year old right-handed outfielder hit .284 this season with the Clippers, with 24 homers and 70 RBI. Head is in the starting lineup in left field in this afternoon's game.

Brantley’s season ends after 114 games and 451 at-bats. Michael hit seven dingers and drove in 46 in his third season of action with the Indians.
