Mary Kay Cabot of the Cleveland Plain Dealer is reporting that the Cleveland Browns will attend the pro day of former Ohio State quarterback Terrelle Pryor on Friday.
The Browns have done their due diligence on Pryor to determine whether or not they want to bid on him in the special-case draft. Teams submit bids based on the draft round in which they’d be willing to select the player. The winning team must surrender that pick in next year’s draft.
Cabot also goes on to note that the Browns have four quarterbacks currently on the roster, and that Jarrett Brown has shown he has some skills and is having a good camp. Using a mid-round pick in the supplemental draft on Pryor seems unlikely, but the Browns are at least considering it.
